The first Hackathon held by Zagonel in partnership with the State University of Santa Catarina (UDESC) of Pinhalzinho, focused primarily on the integration of academics with industry so that they could realize the difficulties and realities of the labor market, out of scientific articles and add knowledge and skills to perform duties with quality and provide solutions that meet the demands of the industry.
"I believe that the partnership between company / university too is to contribute to the search for innovative solutions to existing problems (products) and also to study new projects, and in turn, opens the doors of industries for students / teachers with in order to provide a first contact with the shop floor, combining theoretical knowledge, technical and practical. " Says the project manager of Zagonel, Regis Scholl.
Participants academics were presented with personalized glasses and Zagonel showers. And for the team with the best proposal was handed the prize money, so that everyone was motivated with the project and with the development of employed proposal.
Cleiton Vaz, head of Food and Chemical Engineering Engineering Department, gave a brief explanation of the importance of the project for academics. "Academically, the Hackathon Zagonel Udesc contributed to scholars could develop various experiences throughout the day, one of them is the teamwork that is one of the major requirements today."
The students had autonomy to plan and make decisions that found feasible for completion of the work, both individual and team, applying in practice what they have learned in the classroom and in the presence of technicians Zagonel and teachers on site, scholars could ask questions, absorb and share experiences and clarify the impasses to the correct completion of their projects.
